The Madonna’s Center for Life isn’t what you might think….we are unique! We are NOT a crisis pregnancy center, maternity home, shelter, or drop-in clinic. The parents we serve usually don’t have cars and depend on a good pair of walking shoes and a sturdy stroller to get around. They use public transportation and bum rides from others, whenever possible. These parents have multiple barriers in accessing any types of community resources. This is why we operate as a self-referring “outreach service” intended to fill in the gaps of other providers. Our all-volunteer staff responds to calls for assistance, left on our 24/7 voice mail. We provide essential items for parents to feel greatly relieved just knowing they will have all that is needed for their babies, toddlers and preschoolers.

Our organization upholds a firmly-held belief in the fundamental right to life, from the moment of conception (until natural death). We support LIFE.

Also, we strongly believe everyone deserves equal access to necessities for full human development. And, it is our social responsibility to give urgent help to parents and children – simply because they really need it. For this reason, we do NOT expect parents to participate in counseling sessions, parenting classes or other activities to earn essential items. We respectfully and unconditionally serve any type of impoverished family configuration and will never require them to hold any particular religious beliefs or engage in any faith practices of any kind, in order to get support.
